in search of...

... a prayer or blessing to be included with a small goodie bag for women at a local nursing home/residence for elderly. The women of my church are putting this together and I offered to come up with something. Google is of little help... TIA.

    I love a lot of the Celtic prayers and blessings, like this one:

    Deep peace of the running wave to you
    Deep peace of the flowing air to you
    Deep peace of the quiet earth to you
    Deep peace of the shining stars to you

    Deep peace of the gentle night to you

    Moon and stars pour their healing light on you

    Deep peace to you

    Traditional Gaelic Blessing

    For a more Christian version ther is an additional line, Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you.
