Happy Mother's Day to you my friend!

Ditto on the Mom's Day greetings. Thanks for checking out my blog and once again taking time to leave a kind comment. I'm so spoiled now that I would feel badly if you didn't! So have you been staying high and dry? I've been hoping not to see you on CNN floating down the street on an air matress! Have you been getting the big loads of rain where you live? Can I send you some nice, fluffy dry towels or a sump pump or anything? How about a brand-new galvanized steel bucket and some sturdy hip-length rubber waders? No? A couple of flashlights that actually work and three new umbrellas in colorful patterns to go with any outfit? Just let me know. Always hoping to be of service. Have a great day today. Hope you're smiling. Here's a Big Squishy HUG from your F.F., D.H.

PS: I just scrolled down and found your flood coverage, glad to hear you didn't drown. I also forgot to say how beautiful your photos of the flowers are, really stunning. And thirdly, I feel compelled to point out FYI that the Agitator Quaker has left the building! Hard to follow a blog that's not there, don't you agree? OK that's all for now; I quit. Don't want to hog all your comment space. :>) L, d

Thanks for thinking of us motherless children Anne - I've felt alternately grateful that I don't have children (heh) & weepy that I don't have my mom.

Gorgeous photo, and perfect thoughts: so many forget how difficult this day can be...
