It's been four days since my computer went bonkers on me, and finally, thanks to my friend Roy's thoughtful research on my behalf, I am back in business. I couldn't have done it without the competent and quick responsiveness of just answer, a web site that assists with all manner of technical difficulties (and not confined to computer technology).Oh, what a relief! It's not easy to be separated from the connections with friends and admired others that contribute to the joy or thoughtfulness of each day, to be able to share what's going on here (good or less so), or to cheer on or encourage others as seems fitting according to their circumstance.
The timing is only slightly delayed, as well, to change my banner photo and other "accessories" with the advent of fall. I don't want to get to stale, after all!
Now I can turn my attention back to other matters like stewardship campaigns, spaghetti dinners, and a jewelry party to celebrate the arrival of my friend Clare from New Zealand!
Ah, life is good when the cyber gods are smiling...

Love your new banner! Makes me homesick, a bit. My husband & I lived in Western NC for 5 years before we moved to Ohio (we're from Hickory & Lincolnton, NC - but they're in the foothills)...

Ah, I will miss your beach photo. I'm grateful to live far enough South that the beach can be a year-round destination, albeit bundled up in layers in the winter!
